Rider Levett Bucknall Cost Consultants Earn Professional Accreditation

LOS ANGELES, CA, April 2009 - Cost consultants Daniel Scanlon and Stephen Burgoyne out of the Los Angeles office of property and construction consultant Rider Levett Bucknall have recently earned the esteemed designation of Certified Cost Consultant (CCC) from the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering International (AACEi).

To be eligible for Certification, AACEi requires a candidate to have eight years total experience and/or education. The process includes submission of a 2,500-word technical paper and a 70% or above on each part a four-part exam covering cost estimating, cost control, business planning and management science, profitability analysis, project management, planning and scheduling, and other related cost management disciplines. Dan Scanlon has over ten years experience in architectural, structural, and civil estimating for a variety of commercial, industrial and institutional projects including hospitals, schools, labs, hotels, airports, and retail and office buildings.

Steve Burgoyne has close to six years experience in civil, structural and architectural estimating, pay request reviews, construction cost research, change order reviews, cost-to-complete analysis, cost auditing and site walks.
