RLB provided QS and PM on the dock that can accept the largest cruise ship in the world!
In May 2008 RLB were requested by contractor BNPA (Ballast Nedham Per Aarsleff in joint venture) to provide project management and quantity surveying services through experienced Caribbean based personnel. These services supplemented BNPA's own management team on site, who were experiencing significant difficulties.
Then when hurricane Omar hit St Maarten and caused significant damage to the part completed structure RLB provided a site based QS to negotiate the insurance claim with the adjusters
The dock was specifically constructed to accommodate larger cruise ships and the arrival of 'Oasis' was the official christening of the dock.
